Vision Statement
We are committed to improving student achievement through actions that promote mutual accountability for district-wide success. We envision all of our students to be able to perform at or above grade level and to make District 29 the most improved district in the city: We expect all D29 students to be able to read, write, and compute at or above grade level.
Mission Statement
Community School District 29 values and respects the dignity of all students, families and staff. We will work together to build a culture and community that fosters student mastery of literacy, numeracy and STEAM to promote positive social emotional health, high achievement and civic-minded life-long learners. We will collaborate within our schools, with community stakeholders and the Community Education Council (CEC) to collectively ensure that our students and educators equitably access high quality Culturally Responsive learning environments that exceed the New York State Standards.
